Born in 1951, Anthony has been drawing for as long as he can remember. He studied at the Bourneville School of Art and has exhibited at a number of major Galleries. With his intricate attention to detail, rich textures and his ability to capture light and shade, Anthony has become one of the countries leading wildlife Artists. His originals sell to eager collectors and his Limited Edition prints are in constant demand.
Anthony continually strives to improve the quality of his paintings, experimenting with detail and subtleties; combining these with spontaneity to act as a contrast to the intense detail. If this can be achieved in a balanced way, with each style complimenting the other, Anthony believes that the finished piece has incredible life and intensity.
He likes to paint big, as far as Anthony is concerned, the larger the canvas, the more enthusiasm he has for the piece he is working on!
