Born in Yorkshire, in 1949, Steven Dews is now at the pinnacle of the marine art world.
His originals and limited editions are avidly collected around the globe and, following the sale of his work " An Opportune Breeze From the South East" in 1998 for £52,800.00, the auctioneers, Sotheby's of London, acknowledged that " He's the best - there's no-one else to touch him".
Above all, Steven Dews lives and loves the subject he paints, and spends much of his spare time sailing on his Swan 44, Fine Art.
